The P18-billion Arden Botanical Estate in Trece Martires and Tanza, Cavite to be surrounded by expansive gardens, parks

Megaworld, the country’s leading developer of integrated urban townships, and its subsidiary Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI), are jointly developing a 251-hectare property at the boundary of Trece Martires City and the municipality of Tanza in Cavite.

Surrounded by natural rivers, the Arden Botanical Estate will have several residential and leisure villages, commercial areas, sports and adventure parks, and a mixed-use district.

From the township’s entrance along Governor’s Drive in Tanza, Cavite, a six-lane avenue leads to the Welcome Pavilion and the Town Center, which will be surrounded by arcaded and alfresco commercial areas. The township will also have its own ‘Electric Tram’ that brings passengers from the township entrance to the Town Center, and vice versa.

More than half of Arden Botanical Estate will be residential and leisure villages. Other components include a mixed-use commercial district, sports and adventure parks, and a school.

The township will also be highlighted by an expansive variety of gardens and natural parks around the development.

It will have its own Flower Farm, Flower Tunnel, and Children’s Garden, allowing residents and visitors to commune with nature and enjoy the bounty and beauty of Philippine flora.

The development will also be surrounded by natural rivers and organic gardens, as well as tree-lined roads and avenues, and lotus ponds.

Arden Botanical Estate is a one-of-a-kind township development, which will be curated to engage and stimulate the senses. We will put design and aesthetics at the forefront, and function and purpose at the backbone of its planning,” says Kevin L. Tan, chief strategy officer, Megaworld.

Half of the entire township will be allocated for residential developments while the rest will be for commercial, institutional, recreational, and open spaces.

Aside from the generous open and green spaces around the development, Arden Botanical Estate will include other sustainability features such as the use of solar street lights, electric shuttles for transport, storm water recycling, permeable pavements for driveways and parking, and organic fertilizers and pesticides for gardens.

Both Megaworld and GERI will spend P18-billion to develop Arden Botanical Estate in the next 15 years.

“Our concept for this expansive development is to allow everyone living, working and even visiting the township to appreciate a beautiful and purposeful life. This is another unique township concept that will certainly stand out from any other developments in and around Cavite,’ adds Tan.

Arden Botanical Estate will become Megaworld’s 25th township development, and GERI’s 8th lifestyle and tourism development.
